What
is the difference between the 3 types of rooms?
All the rooms features double bed with hot & cold rain shower, air
Conditioner, cable TV. The Verandah & garden rooms have their own
Verandah or garden and bigger TV screen with DVD player. The Suite room
has full facilities and its own enclosed sun deck.
What
are the main room amenities?
There are TVs in every room, hot & cold rain shower, air conditioner,
bath robes, slippers, shampoo & conditioner & liquid soap and
hair dryer.
Does
the residence provide baby cots?
There are no baby cots available. Infants and children under 12 years
of age
can share the bedding with their parents. An extra bed for a child will
be
provided on request at a surcharge of THB 500 per night.
Does
the residence accept foreign currency and/or
traveler’s cheques?
All payments have to be made in Thai Baht. The residence does not accept
Traveler’s cheques.
Which
credit cards do you accept?
The residence accepts Visa, MasterCard and AMEX.
Is
there an in-room safe?
Guests can deposit their valuable belongings free of charge in the resident
safe.
Can you travel to the residence by car?
You can come to The Taste Phuket via the main Southern high way of
Thailand to Phang-Nga province which is connected to the causeway and
follow route number 402 into Phuket town.
Are
there any places of interest on Phuket
island?
There are so many nearby islands to visit either for a day trip or trip
or to stay on a little longer. Such island trips include Koh
Phi Phi, Koh
Mai-Ton, Koh Yao Noi, Koh
Yao Yai, Koh
Racha and Krabi’s,
Rai Lay beach, Ao Nang, Koh
Lanta and Koh Rok.
There are
so many dive centers located throughout Phuket
and the surrounding islands.
Golfing:
There are more than 4 golf courses on the
island, Blue Canyons (featuring two courses,
one having played host to the Jonnie Walker
Classic a few years back), Mission Hills,
Lock Palms, Phuket Country Club, and nearby
in the next province, Tai Muang and Tub Lamu
in Pang-Nga.
Phuket
Fantasea, Thai cultural shows on stage
with real elephants and other classic Thai
wildlife.
Rest assured there’s plenty of fresh seafood and in addition to
the infamous nightlife of Patong beach.
Does
the residence organize tours and trips?
There is a tour counter at the residence where arrangements can be made
for snorkeling, diving and adventure trips to the surrounding islands.
Spa treatments can be booked through the tour desk and dinning arrangements
at Phuket’s restaurants can be arranged.
What to expect?
The Taste Phuket is 5 star in style but not luxurious. It is both a great
place for privacy or for your own small party with friends.
